Minus 9C this morning….
1. Clear skies has meant cold mornings, sometimes with frost on my car’s roof.
2. Humidity has meant lots of mushrooms on woodsy paths.
The moisture seems to agree with some plants that usually lose fresh foliage by now: Heucheras and Epimediums
3. A few of our grasses haven’t changed much at all.
And the leaves on the oakleaf hydrangeas remain….
4. Rhododendrons are all quite happy. This is a young one just planted last spring, called ‘Primrose’.
5. Oddly enough, both old and new foliage show on this young Podophyllum.
6. Indoors, in the laundry room window, an array of succulents…

Beautiful agave variegated on the last picture! Do you know the color of your rhododendron? It has pretty and healthy leaves now!

The cats ate the bottom leaves of the Agave 3 years ago and it has not recovered completely so far.
The Rhododendron is a very pale yellow.

Pff… these cats… all the same! But no one can see it in this pic.
For your rhodo, I’m looking forward to seeing its bloom!

Still loving that oak leaf hydrangea. The photo of the epimedium is so colourful for simply foliage. Your rhododendron leaves look rather short & plump – is that because it’s a youngen or is it a particular feature of primrose? Looks so lush & healthy, as do the succulents. Great collection.

All I know is that Primrose is a small Rhododendron (Azalea) that reaches about 2′ x 2′ in size. See more here: http://www.learn2grow.com/plants/rhododendron-primrose/
